A digital platform to foster partnerships, share knowledge and unleash innovation in 54 Commonwealth countries
Coral reefs are among the most endangered natural habitats in the world. Nearly half of the remaining reefs hug the coastlines of Commonwealth countries. To assist their governments in taking action to protect them, the Commonwealth Secretariat and Vulcan, a partner organisation, are mapping the coral reefs in four member states – Belize, Fiji, Sri Lanka and Vanuatu – with the help of high resolution satellite images and data.
