The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships (QECS) offer fully-funded Master’s scholarships to Commonwealth citizens. Through them, successful applicants can travel to a range of countries, where they can study a variety of courses and benefit from the expertise provided by leading universities.

Developing new skills, gaining a qualification and experiencing life in another country through a scholarship is of huge benefit both to the individual and their home country. Information on the programme and how you can get involved is included in the Building Commonwealth Connections through Higher Education booklet.

Nine QECS are currently on offer to study in; Namibia (1 award), Papua New Guinea (1 award), South Africa (3 awards), South Pacific (1 award), Sri Lanka (2 awards). This year, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic we are also introducing distance learning scholarships such as an award hosted by Fiji National University.
