From having only one ATM and no online banking, to using blockchain technology, Tuvalu aims to become the world’s first paperless society.

Through the creation of a national digital ledger, Tuvalu intends to turn its cash economy into a digital currency economy. This would mean that all of Tuvalu’s data would be stored online using Bitcoin Satoshi Vision’s (BSV) public ledger.

Blockchain is a digital ledger of transactions shared by a network of computers. Any input to the blockchain is traceable to its source and recorded by all computers on the network. Information on blockchain can not be altered since data stored is immutable and impossible to hack or cheat.
