2021 Commonwealth Human Development Index

The Commonwealth Human Development Index is collated from the data underpinning the UNDP’s Human Development Index. The Human Development Index (HDI) is a summary measure of average achievement in key dimensions of human development: a long and healthy life, being knowledgeable and have a decent standard of living. The table ranks Commonwealth countries scores and helps to assess government policy priorities. It shows that over 40% of Commonwealth countries saw a deterioration in their global ranking compared to the previous year and 25% of Commonwealth countries saw their global ranking improve.
